Located at a distance of 8 km from town, on a clear day the peak offers views of the plains of Coimbatore, and the Mysore Plateau.

You can also visit the popular picnic spots of Wenlock Down and the Ninth Mile. Wenlock Down is located 17 km from Ooty and is a vast stretch of pretty green grassy knolls. Ninth Mile is on the way to Ninth Mile and is located amidst the cluster of pine trees. Both the spots provide welcome respite from the crowds and are located amidst sylvan green surroundings.

You can’t come on honeymoon and go without shopping. Ooty is known for its tea plantations and there are a variety of teas that you can buy.
